The team behind Twelve Triangles approached us to transform a long-standing car spray shop, tucked inside a railway arch in the heart of Leith, into a spacious commercial kitchen to support their cafés and an adjoining Roman-style pizzeria. The spaces are divided by a striking arched screen wall crafted from Douglas Fir, steel, and reeded glass, creating a beautiful backdrop to the pizza counter. This was a real challenge from a design and fabrication point of view. We also created an entrance vestibule in the same style that reinforces the design language. The arched unit came with some great industrial features, including a two-storey internal structure, which we preserved, restored and repurposed as the staff room, WCs, and storage areas.
