@66 Hair & Lifestyle
When well known Glasgow hair studio @66 Hair & Lifestyle took on a second unit on Argyle Street in Finneston, SPLINTR were brought on board to do the interior design and a good amount of the fit-out. We worked closely with the owner Graeme to pull together ideas to transform the space with a big focus on bold colour, abstract shapes and variation of textures. The concept of @66 is more than just a hair studio, with homewares retail, flower arranging, coffee and more, @66 is a cool, expressive, safe space for everyone to be unapologetically themselves.
Splintr designed, fabricated and fitted numerous items around the space, including the entirely patinated brass clad colouring area, the chunky oak cutting stations, the wavy oak retail shelving, the cosy and eccentric basement WC’s and the microcement reception counter, and much more!
A whole team of talented local artists and designers were involved in this project, largely curated by Graeme.
