THE PORT OF LEITH DISTILLERY

The Port of Leith Distillery, our biggest project yet by a good distance.

After previously working with the team at Lind & Lime gin, we were delighted to work with them again on their new project, a nine floor vertical whisky distillery, the first of it’s kind in Scotland. We spent the best part of 2023 on this project, with the entirety of our design, workshop and build teams working behind the scenes to bring it to life. We worked with Graven, Threesixty architects and the wider project team to develop the design for manufacture and fabrication.

Splintr, serving as phase 2 contractor, were responsible for taking 6 of the 9 floors from shell condition to a fully fitted visitor experience. This included the entrance, shop, tasting rooms, boardroom, toilet areas and the impressive two levelled bar and restaurant.
