FORTITUDE COFFEE - ABBEYMOUNT

In the latter part of 2023, we collaborated once again with Fortitude Coffee, for the third time. We were asked to design and fit their brand new premises located in the vibrant Abbeyhill area of Edinburgh. Opting to shut their original city centre coffee shop, Fortitude Coffee expressed a desire to repurpose some of the meticulously crafted Iroko hardwood elements salvaged from their previous location. In response, we seamlessly integrated these reclaimed items into the design, complementing them with newly fashioned pieces from the same hardwood. Notably, a striking, slatted coffee bar takes center stage in the layout.

A sophisticated colour scheme featuring muted green and off-white hues was carefully chosen to create a soothing ambiance, allowing the rich, dark hardwood elements to command attention within the space.
